HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY
CHEST
Around the fullest part, tape level under arms.
WAIST
Around your natural waist without pulling tight.
HIPS
Around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
Use a soft measuring tape, stand naturally and relaxed, keep the tape level all around, and measure over light clothing.
COMPARE A SHIRT YOU OWN
CHEST WIDTH
Measure straight across a flat shirt, about 1 inch below the armholes.
BODY LENGTH
From the highest shoulder point to the bottom hem.
SLEEVE
From shoulder seam to sleeve edge.
IMPORTANT
A flat chest width is half the garment circumference. Do not compare it directly with a full body-chest measurement.

Lay it flat and compare its width and length before ordering.
ALLOW FOR COTTON SHRINKAGE
Cotton garments can shrink slightly after the first wash. Between sizes? Consider sizing up.
WASH COLD · AVOID HIGH HEAT
Cold wash protects the print and fabric. Tumble low or lay flat to dry.
ORDERING FOR A GROUP?
Collect each person’s preferred size using the product-specific chart. Avoid estimating sizes based only on appearance.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are T-shirt sizes unisex?
Most Origin Thread T-shirts use unisex or men’s sizing unless the product page says otherwise.
Does the Hanes Beefy-T run large?
It has a roomier classic cut. Use your body measurements and fit preference rather than relying on the label alone.
What if I am between sizes?
Size up for a more relaxed fit or if shrinkage is a concern. Size down only when you intentionally want a closer fit.
Are these body or garment measurements?
The Hanes chart above shows body measurements. Flat-garment measurements will be clearly labeled when used.
Will every Origin Thread T-shirt fit the same?
No. Different garment suppliers and styles can fit differently, which is why the exact product guide matters.
Are hoodie and crewneck measurements exact?
They are supplier-provided garment measurements and should be used as a sizing reference. Slight variation can occur by style, fabric and manufacturing batch.
Can custom apparel be exchanged for sizing?
Because personalized pieces may have different return eligibility, review the Returns & Exchanges policy before ordering.
How should I choose sizes for a group?
Have each person choose using the product-specific guide. For large orders, contact us before production if anyone is unsure.
